Chelle's Country Closet was born in the mid 90's by Donna Picione as a way to make extra money to help put her three children through private schooling.
The business started small selling little girls t-shirt and skort sets with just two or three jumpers hanging behind her table at local Lorain County Craft shows.
As the business evolved and grew Donna's skill as a seamstress blossomed. Sewing prom dresses for young high school girls, helping create uniforms for a local high school choir, and creating truckloads of costumes for drama productions gave her all the experience and talent needed to begin stocking her shows with hundreds of jumpers.
Today, known simply as Chelle's Closet, Donna exclusively designs and creates girl's jumpers & hats and appears in craft shows all over Northeast America. Her love and dedication for her work and family are shown in the quality of every dress she makes.
